Overview

Kinsta’s all-in-one cloud platform is designed to set a new standard in hosting, helping to move the web forward. When Verve curated Kinsta’s new brand identity, it needed to reflect the platform’s ability to run anything on the web with ease, speed, and security.

Project by Verve. Role: Digital Designer

At the heart of Kinsta’s identity are ‘power projects’—rounded rectangles that symbolise both cohesion and diversity. When stacked, they represent the many websites, apps, and databases that can seamlessly integrate within Kinsta’s ecosystem. We developed visual treatments to reflect their behaviour: standing alone when deployed, expanding when amplified, and connecting when hypercharged. In digital applications, these power projects add a subtle touch of dynamism, gently rotating inwards to bring depth and motion. This visual language became a unifying thread across every touchpoint, from printed materials to company swag, website design, and motion graphics.

Outcome

For a brand to feel truly cohesive, it needs to maintain a consistent look and feel across every platform, from billboards to websites. Modularity is essential for SaaS brands to stay adaptable, but in digital applications, factors like usability, inclusivity, and legibility bring additional complexity. To support Kinsta’s team, we developed a digital identity alongside the visual identity—complete with motion explorations, typography flows, colour interactions, and practical examples—ensuring they could confidently bring the brand to life across all digital spaces.
